James Deen PSA

Porn actor James Deen's new PSA for condoms. Some people are saying he doesn't practice what he preaches. Maybe it's just a case of do as I say not as I do. Play safe.

Valentine's Ideas for 2012

It's that time of year again. Many people will be rushing into chocolate shops looking for the perfect confection for their sweetie. Before you rush out and buy, watch this video:

Yes, it is a downer but it is also the sad truth. Some children don't get paid at all. They get a place on the floor to sleep and some food. There is an option. If you must have chocolate, buy fair trade chocolate that is not produced by slaves or children. You might have to look a little harder but it is available. As a bonus, you'll look even better to your sweetie by showing your moral fiber. Here are some links to get you going:

K-Y Touch Massage

A while back I got a sample in the mail from Johnson & Johnson. K-Y Touch Massage 2-in-1 is supposed to be for massages and personal lubricant. I don't know how long they've been selling this product, but anyone who visited sex shops in the 80s is probably familiar with Motion Lotion.  When you rub some of the lotion into your skin it gets warm. If you blow on it you get a flash of heat. It's fun. It's just not very eco-friendly.

I threw out my bottle of Motion Lotion when a friend looked at the ingredient list and noticed that the formula was very close to that of anti-freeze. The idea of putting anything even remotely close to anti-freeze on my skin is a big turn off. Sad to say that, from what I can tell, K-Y has not improved on the formula. There is one difference, the Motion Lotion I had was not recommended for genital use. The K-Y product is.

I'll admit I was curious about what it would feel like. A few nights ago I was VOIPing with a friend when I spotted the K-Y in my basket of review products. I'm always up for a little experimentation so, while we were talking, I got out my dolphin vibe and poured some on. It felt like any other lube I've ever used.

I put some on the inside of my wrist and rubbed it in. It got warm immediately. I blew on it and was rewarded with a very pleasant flash of heat. I was a little leery of using it on my genitals because I thought the heat might be a little too much. Turned out I was right. At first the sensation was quite pleasant, but after a while the heat became too intense for me. Towards the end of the session it became a bit painful.

The other problem was that it dried a lot faster than other lubes. While there's usually no problem with adding more lube when you need it, this product's heating properties makes that a little dangerous. You might just get to a good point as far as the heat's concerned but need more lubrication. I would suggest using a non-heating lube if you need more.

While Touch Massage 2-in-1 works pretty much as advertised, I can't recommend it for two big reasons. One, it's not eco-friendly at all. There's no way this product could be classified as natural. The other reason I won't recommend it is because of Johnson & Johnson's animal testing. I realize they are forced to test their products to make sure they are safe. My point is that if their products didn't use so many chemicals they wouldn't have to be tested. There are many companies out there now that make similar products without chemicals and without animal testing.

Tit In Use Causes Comic Book Uproar

I don't pay a lot of attention to the comic book world. I'm a big enough geek without them. Every once in a while something happens in the magical world of comics that makes me shake my head.

On Monday, illustrator Dave Dorman complained about the cover of a comic book called Saga. The problem? Breastfeeding. He found it offensive and only there for "shock value." As you might think the backlash started soon after. I came late to the issue and only read about it on a site called Comic Alliance. By the time I went to Dorman's blog he'd taken the post down.

I just don't get what's so offensive. Compared to some of the other stuff in comics, breastfeeding is at least natural and realistic. Let's face it, most women in comics would suffer from severe back strain if they could stand up at all. Don't even get me started on women's "armor" in comic books. I don't even know how most of it stays on. There's often a whole lot more breast showing than there is in the illustration above.

I really don't understand how anyone can find breastfeeding offensive. It is the most natural thing on Earth. Our culture teaches people that our bodies are bad. The site of a naked breast could lead to all kinds of perversity. Think of the children.

It's all bull-cocky.

Our bodies are not evil. There is no harm in nudity. There's no evidence that children are negatively affected by seeing a breast being used  as it was meant to be. People need to get over themselves.

Alien Cathouse

A new brothel is opening up in Nevada. This one promises women who are "out of this world." All you Captain Kirk clones can relax because you won't have to go to Risa to get alien sex.

There are just so many jokes...

I think this is a fine idea. Sex is about fantasy. If you want to make it with a T'Pol or Seven of Nine or even Slave Leia you should be able too. Sex should also be fun. If you can have a smile or a laugh while you're getting your ya-yas off it's all to the good.

The only problem I have with this idea is that the costumes are being designed by Hollywood Madame Heidi  Fleiss. There is so much that can go wrong there.
